Oudtshoorn, known as the "ostrich capital of the world", is a historical farm town situated along the Route 62 in Western Cape's beautiful Klein Karoo region.
Great activities and interesting attractions to enjoy in Oudtshoorn include the extraordinary world famous Cango Caves, ostrich riding, ostrich shows, the Cango Wildlife Ranch, museums, historical monuments and churches, wine farms, ancient bushmen paintings and scenic drives through numerous mountain passes where some of the most spectacular views of the Karoo can be admired from.
The name uKhahlamba Drakensberg means "Barrier of Spears" and "Dragon Mountains". A spectacular mountain range and a world heritage site along the Great Escarpment where mountain peaks soar to heights well over 3000m, forming a natural border between the Kingdom of Lesotho and KwaZulu-Natal.
Often referred to by the locals as "the Berg", the Drakensberg is a fantastic getaway for all outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, hikers and adventure seekers alike. Main attractions include the Tugela falls in the Northern Drakensberg - the second highest waterfall in the world, dropping from a staggering height of 948m. The Drakensberg is also famously known for having the world's greatest collection of ancient rock paintings created by the San people thousands of years ago. Remarkably, 35 000 fascinating and well preserved paintings can be admired in over 600 sheltered rock art sites. Giant's Castle in Central Drakensberg is most popular for this with an open-air "museum" of life-size San figures.

The Wild Coast is one of very few places in the world where you'll see waterfalls plunging into the ocean and cattle bathing in lagoons or lazing around chewing cud on the beach.

Pretoria, commonly known by local South Africans as "Jacaranda City" is located 60km from Johannesburg in the Northern part of Gauteng, near the spectacular Magaliesberg Mountain range in Kameeldrift West.
Iconic landmarks and tourist attractions in Pretoria include The Union Buildings near Arcadia, The historical Pretoria Forts erected during the Anglo-Boer War, the notable 40m high granite Voortrekker Monument situated on a hilltop and the Palace of Justice in Pretoria's CBD which was built back in the late 1800's.

A few hours from Durban along KZN's South Coast Region is a series of stunning beaches and coastal villages. The enormous shoal, kilometers long, attracts thousands of gannets, bottle nose dolphins and sharks, creating a massive feeding frenzy and a fascinating spectacle for onlookers. Aliwal Shoal reef is another major attraction in the South Coast near Umkomaas / Scottsburgh. Some diving enthusiasts rate this reef as one of the world's best.
